Regensburg, Germany With Ulrike

On Thursday, November 8, 2001 we drove from Munich to Regensburg (called Castra Regina when Marcus Aurelius ruled here in approx 150 A.D.) to meet Ulrike Diepold-Ferstl who hosted David in 1969 andTeresa in the 1980's.  We met at the Bischofshof Hotel (left picture:  John, Anne Donovan, Keye and Ulrike).  Then we had lunch in Bischofshof Restaurant.  As part of her tour of the town, Ulrike showed us where they never finished marrying the gothic Dom into the old Romanesque tower.

After our tour, we said good bye at the Bischofshof (left and right) and stayed the night at the Kaiser Hotel (middle) directly across the street from the Bischofshof.
