The Boys Ski Utah -- December, 2003
Ed Neumuth, Geoff Ferman and Tom ("Le Grand Buzzard") O'Connor join John for early season skiing in Utah
Back to Friends
Tom, Geoff, John and Ed at 11,000 foot high Hidden Peak, the top of Snowbird on a bluebird day with Salt Lake City in the background.
Ginny (left, above) and Joe (2nd from right, above) joined Ed, me and Tom for the trip.  We skied Alta the first day (above) and enjoyed 6 inches of fresh powder.  We skied Snowbird the 2nd day and Geoff (right) ignored all the Warning signs.
On the third day, we traveled to The Canyons while Joe and Ginny skate skied.  They joined us for drinks at the No Name Saloon (left) in Park City and for dinner at the Grubsteak (below, left) where Ross and Becca used to work (and are missed.)  Joe and Ginny, not happy with my reservations at Sugarhouse Village, upgraded us to the Racquet Club on Wasatch Blvd at the base of Big Cottonwood Canyon.  We all enjoyed the outside jacuzzi.  Tom and Geoff left Sunday (and got their flight canceled in Chicago) while Ed and I skied Solitude Sunday, enjoyed the jacuzzi in the snow and skied Alta Monday in 17" of fresh powder.  We were sure glad we had the powder cords that Joe made us buy.
