Charleston & Folly Beach, SC
An invitation to join the Clardy family in Charleston and Folly Beach, SC during the week of the 2004 Masters was too much to pass up.  Ross's parents' beach home was our home for the week.

Above:  Candy and Robert's beach-front home with Ray on the walk.  Above right:  Keye surveys Folly Beach from the 1,000 foot-long town pier.  Right:  John visited the Masters for the practice round on Tuesday and followed his idol, Arnie Palmer (above right), who was playing his last Masters for a few holes.

Ross cooked for us at his restaurant, Laura Roberts, on Daniel Island, left, below; Ross also took Mary Gail (left above in the surf)  and Forrest (above, tending to the castle engineering with Raymond) to surf.  James (above right) and Jake (right) were aspiring surfers.  Keye and Chris compared beach shells (below left.)  Sarah joined her mom and daughter (below on the beach.)  Below right:  Jake with James and John.
Mary and John took the kids to the acquarium and IMAX:  left below:  Jake with an undersea creature; below:  No, I couldn't get Forrest to stand any closer to the parrot.  Mary and John also spend a day touring the plantations and downtown.  Keye and John visited The Joseph Marigault House (right) and The Aiken Rhett Home (right below), among many others.  Somehow I never got a picture of Becca.
Folly Beach is a very funky town.  Below is the downtown Law Office of the Bolus family, right next to Town Hall.  Although we saw many dolphins, this was the closest we got to a shark outside of the Aquarium
